Gastroparesis is nerve damage in the stomach, resulting in delayed emptying. Basically the stomach hardly works. . A few symptoms are moderate to severe nausea, vomiting, and in some cases, pain. I also am a type 1 diabetic. Having diabetes and gastroparesis can be very frustrating and complicated but with the right medications, support, and determination you can live a seemingly healthy life. I will tell my story and my journey thus far living with gastroparesis and diabetes.
